The myth of happy – what we see on instragram.
What we see represented.
Smiling happy people and we just assume that is the whole story.
We never stop to slow down to question… what else is that person experiencing or feeling?
We all believe we need to be happier.
The problem is we think happy = no emotions.
But the truth is, happiness is just one emotions of many. It has nothing to do with perfection.
It’s a state.
And let me just say – the goal of life is not to be happy 100% of the time.
So instead of putting on all this guilt on ourselves for not being happy all the time we need to APPRECIATE THE CONTRAST.
Without contrasting emotions you don’t know which emotion you prefer.
