“Your life is an expression of who you think you are.”
The sad reality is that most of us are walking around with a deep belief in the myth of inadequacy.
This belief that we are flawed in some way.
“I’m not loveable.”
“I am not enough”
You relationship to yourself or how you see yourself shows up in every area of your life.
Everything in our life is mirror of our internal state.
So I want to further this understanding a little deeper and talk about what Robert Holden and Louise Hay talk call “The Mirror Principle.”
The Mirror Principle teaches that your relationship with yourself is mirrored in your relationship with everyone and everything.
Life mirrors your values, your ethics, and your choices. It shows you your thoughts. It reflects back to you what you believe you deserve or don’t deserve, who you blame and what you take responsibility for.
The most powerful thing that we can do to change our external life, is to change how we see ourselves.
When we change that, it changes our whole lives.
You are the thinker of your thoughts and the beauty of all of this is that acceptance is only one thought away.
But we have to put a few practices into play to shift these thoughts.
So how do we shift how we see ourselves in the mirror??
HERE ARE MY 3 practices:
#1: shift your most basic belief
#2: identify who’s voice is that
#3: repair your mirror time
You cannot bully or hate your way to a better life, a better body, a better relationship. The answer lies in more loving. Always.
Can you be brave enough to choose to believe that?
What would change in your life if you believed that?
